Check out the great work of the Merritt Parkway Conservancy. And, currently CTDOT is studying the feasibility of building a multi-use trail in the right-of-way of the Merritt Parkway. The trail would be used by pedestrians, bicyclists and others and would be adjacent to the roadway. With heavy hearts we laid a wreath yesterday dedicated to the fallen at Sandy Hook Elementary School our neighboring community here in Connecticut. Our deepest sympathy and prayers for healing to the families. The United Way of Western Connecticut in partnership with Newtown Savings Bank has created the Sandy Hook School Support Fund that will be able to provide support services to the families and community that has been affected.
